2.  Personalize your wedding.  Find and share elements that make the wedding about you as a couple and not everything that is in social media.

3. Be creative.  Yes, you can stay within your budget and have many wow elements.

Your Personalized Message is a Favor for Guests

We just came upon this fabulous and creative way to incorporate your favors and decor into one.   Whether you are having a wedding reception or social party, this is a great way for guests to receive a personal wish and gift from you.

Martha Stewart did it again with this original and creative idea.  Candles in three shades of white are wrapped in corrugated paper and tied with waxed twine; written inside are messages from the bride and groom
and/or hosts.  A thank you, a memory, a holiday wish can all be a message on these simple and thoughtful gifts.  Read more at Marthastewartweddings.com: White Favors: Greeting Candles

Thank you, Martha!

Simple and Thoughtful Favors

Ahhhh, Audrey Hepburn Fashion

We loved this recent blog from Preston Bailey.  The inspiration for this room and chairs comes from a dress Audrey Hepburn wore in Sabrina.  What a beautiful room and idea.  Did you know that we do have the means to assist you with made to order linens and accessories?   If you have something you would like to mirror for your special celebration, please enlist our decor team in helping you make it happen.  We are always here to serve you with the very best!

Color; A very important element

You’re dreaming about the wedding, all the details.  What’s the big decision now?  Color.  What will be right? What will make your dream day fabulous?  Let’s face it.  Color is a HUGE element in your wedding.  It can direct you in routes to go with the flowers, the dresses, the linens, the lights and more.  Color will give the photographer and the videographer a lot or a little to work with.  Color is impact and most of you want this for your wedding. Don’t be afraid of color and going out on a limb with different combos.  Color can inspire a mood and make it magical.  Discover a new color you will adore.

Some of the very newest combos are marigold and pewter, or poppy and turquoise.  The new “neutrals” are the very faintest shade of pink with pearl and soft beige.  Lots of brides this year are now choosing emerald and canary or champagne and pewter.  One of my late summer brides is selecting moss and eggplant.  All of these colors and more are just waiting for you.
