My name is Ross Pierson and I am one of the new interns at Kim King Smith Events.
This fall, I will be starting my last year at Ball State University. I am majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Entrepreneurship. I am originally from Avon, Indiana where I graduated Avon High School in 2010. At Ball State, I am the Director of Fundraising for Ball State University Dance Marathon. We are the largest philanthropic organization on campus. We raise money for Riley Hospital for Children. I am in charge of planning fundraising events throughout the year. I was also on the BSU Equestrian Team.
Through my life experiences and Dance Marathon, I realize that I love being part of events and want to incorporate that into my future career. This internship will get me a chance to see and work in the business. I am very excited to work with the fabulous Kim King Smith and I know she is going to give me a lot of experience.
I hope you all have a wonderful day!
Hello! My name is Leah Streeval and I have the pleasure of interning for Kim King Smith Events this summer! I am so excited about this opportunity to learn about the event planning business and all the work that goes on behind scenes.
In the fall, I will be starting my senior year at Anderson University. I am pursuing a degree in communication arts with a minor in entrepreneurship. At AU, I am a cheerleader as well as part of the Student Alumni Association and Public Relations Student Society of America. This year, I have the honor of being president of ΦΛΣ. The group is full of wonderful women who I am blessed to be sisters with.
I have always loved planning events for school and church functions as well as nights out with the girls. This internship will be a great experience to take what I already know and apply it while learning more while I go.
Have a blessed day!
We would like to introduce you to our intern, Erin Morton, a Whiteland Community High School graduate and Indiana University Senior. Erin has an enthusiasm and desire to dive in and work the industry. We love her work ethic and soothing sense. We have lots planned for Erin and will keep you posted.
Here’s the scoop directly from Erin: I have one younger brother, a pooch named Rocky, was a star swimmer at Whiteland Community High School and have been a lifeguard too many summers to count! I just received a degree in recreation and tourism from Indiana University/Bloomington, where I lived the past four years. I love Bloomington, Red Mango (we do, too!) and spending time with family, best friends and teammates on the IU Swim Club. My future plans include getting into the business of wedding planning and possibly other special events. I’m really not sure where life is going to take me right now, but I am ready for anything. Once I get settled into the perfect career, I hope to do some traveling.
